Good early morning (or late night) to all those who may be reading this. I hope your night (or morning) is treating you well. Authors - get those words on paper and reach that word count goal you set for yourself. You can do it!
I've been trying really hard to keep up with the updates of this site. So much has been going on and there's been a lot to add here and there, but I am pleased to announce it's all coming together exactly as I envisioned it. IABB has always had a special place in my heart and all I want is to capture the vision G always had for it: a place where the indie community can come together for knowledge, guidance, friendship, and encouragement.
I know that sometimes Confessions come off as a bit harsh. There are things people need to get off their chests that may seem unpleasant, but I am happy they have a place to do that if they need to. I firmly believe that everyone needs a safe space, ands some people see IABB Confessions to be that space. Yes, we do occasionally get a 'Negative Nancy' or two, but we try to keep everything as positive as we can.
If you're an author or a blogger, there comes a day when you realize that there is so much more to this world than just writing a book or posting a review. There's a lot of work and dedication that goes into all of this, behind the scenes. That can be downright terrifying if you don't know what you're doing, or where to turn. But it is my hope that IABB is on the right path to become a place where you can find all the guidance you need, whether you're a seasoned author/blogger, or a newcomer.
With that said, and my realization that I might indeed need some coffee at the moment, I'd like to welcome everyone to take a gander at our site to see what we offer. There are a few pages in which you can make a donation to be added, but we have many free opportunities, too. One such page is our events page. We list all upcoming events, online and in person, at no charge. Maybe you're a reader looking for something to do next week? Perfect! There might be an event you'll want to attend, whether online or in the real world. Or perhaps you're a coordinator and you're trying to gain momentum for that upcoming signing you've been eagerly awaiting - you can advertise that with us as well.
We've been asking for a lot of feedback on what we can do to better the site, and I am so grateful that you all have shared your thoughts. I'll continue to work hard on incorporating your ideas to make IABB the most efficient, top-notch resource site it can be.
Got ideas? Please feel free to share them below.

Before I let you go, I'd like to remind all of you about our raffle taking place right now. It ends on the 1st of October and should arrive just in time for Halloween. These funds help us continue to grow. We've almost hit our goal to get a bonafide website address - thanks to all of you!
I'll shush now, but don't hesitate to reach out to me if you're interested in being listed on our site. I'm happy to answer any questions you have.
